The EZ ICE AFD standard artificial ice skid packages are designed to accommodate your needs. They are a very efficient, reliable package designed as ammonia / brine, or glycol flooded system, utilizing Ultimate Fabrication’s standard design.
Our care and attention to detail in every skid design maximizes performance while protecting the equipment and allowing easy access, which will save you money in maintenance and service in years to come.
- A service-friendly skid package designed to allow for:
- EZ access to all maintainable components.
- EZ installation.
- EZ operation.
- EZ maintenance.
- Standard package includes Motor Control Centre (MCC) panel, complete with softstarters on compressor motors, across the line starters for all other motors, overloads, relays, timers, and hand-off-auto switches.
- Skid packages are fully wired.
- MCC panel allows for condenser fan motor and condenser water pump motor.
- Optional items available upon request:
- Heat floor system.
- Snowmelt pit system.
- Domestic water preheat system.
- 100% back-up pump completely piped in ready for automatic switch over.
- Softstarter on the brine pump motors.
- Digital Direct Controller (DDC) system.
- The AFD packages are available in different capacities.
