The EZ ICE BOX allows for drop-in replacement for your existing refrigeration system and can also be used for new installations. It can free up space in your building…turn your existing mechanical room into a storage room!

Package is designed with an internal polyethylene condenser water tank and pump, complete with an overflow off the tank to a floor drain, when an evaporative condenser is included with package. Brine pumps are installed on a sturdy base with a ‘catch all’ around the sides to funnel the condensation off the pump and direct it to the single-point drain.

Skid buildings are pre-wired and ready for a single point connection to the source power. The package includes an MCC panel for the refrigeration unit, a transformer for single-phase power, and sub panels for interior lights, fans, and controls.

  • The EZ ICE box package has two access points into the building. Standard layouts are designed with one set of double doors for service requirements, plus a single man door.
  • The bottom of the structural steel base is insulated with 3” spray foam insulation.
  • A 10 KW electric industrial heater maintains a minimum 55˚ F (13˚ C) room temperature.
  • Ample lighting is provided inside and outside the building.
  • Single point connection for 3 phase power.
  • Motor Control Centre (MCC) panel c/w disconnect in building.
  • Pre-wired MCC panels are standard with ‘soft starts’ on the compressor motors.
  • Soft starts can be installed on the brine pump motors as an optional item.
  • Variable speed drives can also be installed on the condenser fan motor, as an optional item.
  • All motors are completely wired within the building.
  • Refrigerant detection system is provided. An LED NH3 detector with digital readout wired in the building with a remote sensor mounted on the ceiling.
    • Building package comes complete with audible and visual alarms.
  • Ventilation for heat dissipation and refrigerant detection is provided.
  • Exhaust fans are interlocked with the detection system and a room thermostat is mounted within the building for temperature control. Fresh air louvers mounted opposite to the exhaust fans to ensure adequate air circulation and ventilation.
